Origin
In the first decade of the 21st century, Joseph Ben-Simon began his quest to discover the mathematics of determinism in human systems.
For Joseph, the founder of Ben-Simon Labs, this goal was not driven by ambition, curiosity, or greed — it was survival, and an unending need to understand the world around him. Born from experiencing first-hand the cruelty of the world — child abuse, violence, and the apathy of the adults around him — an intolerable and ever-present injustice gave birth to the unwavering force behind his work.
Joseph was born with a unique form of autism, which made accepting the random, chaotic nature of the world and the irrational narrative explanations of modernity impossible. After being rejected by higher academia and formal institutions — his work deemed too dangerous and destabilizing to the prevailing narrative and power structures — he left to pursue his goals alone, investing his wealth, decades of independent research, and the sacrifice of traditional paths to success.
In 2026, after nearly two decades of independent work, failed attempts, and private refinement, Joseph reached two major breakthroughs.
The First Pillar — The Foundation™
The first breakthrough was in human behavioral determinism, developed through the forthcoming publication The Foundation™. This work treats human behavior not as random choice or surface-level psychology, but as the output of a bounded biological system shaped by transduction, substrate history, constraint, and available pathways.
It became the first pillar of Ben-Simon Labs: a behavioral framework for studying why human action becomes predictable when the deeper system conditions are properly read.
The Second Pillar — Functional Prescience™
The second breakthrough was in human and natural systems determinism, developed through the forthcoming publication Functional Prescience™. This work examines how bounded systems carry recurring burden, consume margin, and move toward forced resolution when unresolved incoherence remains active inside the system.
It became the systems foundation of Ben-Simon Labs: a framework for reading institutions, organisms, environments, and other bounded orders before their visible outcomes are mistaken for surprise.
Together, these works became the foundation of Ben-Simon Labs: a research institution built to study determinism not as an abstract belief, but as a structural force operating through human behavior, bounded systems, and the conditions that make future outcomes possible to accurately model, predict, and — most importantly — control.
The Boundary
Controlled materials are not published as public copy. Those materials may include the full audit record, diagnostic apparatus, risk matrix, internal scenario maps, institutional library contents, implementation materials, or proprietary workflows.
The boundary exists because public explanation and operational application are not the same thing. Functional Prescience™ can be introduced publicly without disclosing every controlled mechanism required for institutional use.
Ben-Simon Labs is the public institutional home of the doctrine and the routing point for serious review, briefing, speaking, media, professional, and controlled-access inquiries.
